Big Bear Regional Wastewater Agency conducted a pilot with IDE Technologies as part of its global initiative to recover the valley’s water resources and enhance water levels throughout the region. The pilot facility proposed by IDE was constructed to develop new design criteria for its full-scale water treatment facility, ensuring increased water treatment recovery and reduced RO brine volume to meet regulatory requirements.
Drawing from previous experience and insights, IDE’s high-recovery technology Max H2O with Pulse Flow RO (PFROTM) achieved a market-first recovery rate of 98.7% with stable operations.
