IDE Water Technologies Selected as Platinum and Gold Winner of the Energy and Environment Foundation Global Water Awards 2024

IDE Water Technologies is excited to announce it was selected as a winner in two categories by the 14th Annual Energy and Environment Foundation (EEF) Global Water Awards 2024 – recognized as a Platinum winner for the Global Sustainability Award and a Gold winner for the Global Water Innovator Award. The EEF Global Water Awards recognize the highest achievers in the international water industry, research and management with a focus on initiatives in the scientific management of drinking water, industrial water, wastewater and desalination across the globe.

As a Platinum winner of the Global Sustainability Award, IDE was recognized for pioneering a patented approach for paving the way to Net-Carbon-Zero desalination in the global water community. This included developing a comprehensive lifecycle assessment (LCA) model and methodology, setting the standard for assessing the environmental impact of desalination, and developing and implementing technologies and solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of desalination facilities worldwide.

As a Gold winner of the Global Water Innovator Award, IDE was selected for its industry-leading water solutions and success with mega water treatments plants such as the Prospect Lake Clear Water Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the SADDN Desalination Plant in Chile and leading the charge with the globe’s largest, most advanced SWRO treatment plant, the Sorek II Desalination Plant.
